Lighthouse Digital Innovation Center (SIC)
It is an innovation and technology cluster connecting the most advanced companies, scientific institutions and public organizations, providing innovation support and innovation consulting services. The cluster was founded in 2019, its founders are Klaipėda City Municipality, Klaipėda University, UAB Uosto verslo centras, AB Klaipėdos Nafta, AB Klaipėdos Energija, VŠĮ Baltijos Teknologi Parkas, Klaipėda Industrialists' Association, etc.
The purpose of SIC is to bring together the participants of the region's digital ecosystem and help organizations create added value using digital technologies, develop cooperation between companies, the public sector and science in the fields of digital innovation and R&D, and promote mutual sharing of knowledge and experience.
International partners
To promote internationalization, Lighthouse DIH is actively expanding the network of partners abroad. The established international partnerships and the adopted good experience of foreign practitioners play an important role in developing the range of services of the digital innovation center and promoting the creation of innovations.
Currently, Lighthouse DIH cooperates with more than 20 international partners, including the largest digital innovation centers, blockchain, robotics, artificial intelligence associations and other organizations. Together with these partners, SIC shares experience, expert knowledge, participates in various EU cooperation programs and projects.
