Klaipėda is a unique seaside city and an important tourism center. However, today the tourism sector faces real challenges: from the visitor experience in the city to the accessibility of services and the dissemination of information.

Your mission: to come up with and present a practically applicable digital solution that would help solve one of the real problems of Klaipėda's tourism sector and strengthen the city as an attractive seaside tourism destination.

What will you be able to create?
– Mobile apps for tourists
– Information or reservation platforms
– Interactive city maps
– Route or service planning tools
– Visitor flow management solutions
– Or any other innovative technological solution

10:00–10:15 | Hackathon opening. Welcome speech by Klaipėda City Mayor Arvydas Vaitkus

10:15 –11:15 | Teamwork (Stage I) Idea generation, solution concept

11:15 – 12:00 | Presentation of prototyping principles and their application (theoretical part)

12:00 –13:00 | Teamwork (Phase II) Initial prototype, mentor consultations

13:00–13:45 | Break

13:45–14:45 | Teamwork (Stage III) Solution development, value proposition formulation, pitch preparation

14:45–15:45 | Project presentations (1 team: 3 min. pitch, 2 min. Q&A)

15:45–16:00 | Announcement of winners. Thanks, closing
